Aunjanue The. Ellis Taylor, American producer and actress. She received a Bachelor of Arts in African-American Studies at Brown University, and a Master in Fine Arts in Acting at the Tisch School for the Arts New York University. Aunjanue is an American actor, producer and director who works in television and film. Her career began as a theater actress and then appeared in a number of television series and independent and mainstream films. The actress became well-known as Miranda Shaw, a character on ABC's Quantico. The BET's amazing show The Book of Negroes she played the role of Ariel. Not only did she be praised by critics for her character, she did she also win a couple of awards and nominations. She made her professional acting debut in the role of Ariel as Ariel in The Tempest in 1995. Stage credits comprise Come and Gone Drowning Crow as well as Seeking the Genesis, a Broadway production of Joe Turner.
