Aspen Ladd
Aspen Ladd started her combat sports career at the age of 14. She began training in kickboxing boxing BJJ and wrestling before making her first amateur appearance at 18, at WCFC with Jaimee Nievera. Ladd was able to continue building upon her win at Ultimate Reno Combat, where she won three consecutive fights. She finished all of her opponents within the first round. In the following weeks, she went to WCFC for the second time and defeated Leslie Rodriguez in a unanimous decision. Aspen beat Silvia Babaeghian Maddy Simmons and Cynthia Calvillo in WCFC 9 before taking on Cynthia Calvillo in WCFC 9 Cynthia was superior to Aspen in the fight, beating her with a unanimous decision. Cynthia's amateur records were marred. Ladd bounced back from defeat in the final by beating Roma Pawelek in Tuff-N'-Uff, bringing her record up to 8-1. Aspen made her professional debut in 2015 when she signed with Invicta FC to make her professional debut. Invicta Fc 11, she defeated Ana Carolina Vidal and won the fight in first round via TKO. Invicta Fc 16 was her first match with a bantamweight. She beat Amanda Cooper with an armbar submission at the end of the second round. Aspen's superior wrestling skill took down McGill in the first round, and she was able finish her in the third round through TKO (elbows and strikes). Aspen then fought Jessica Hoy at Invicta FC 18 at catchweight(138.1lb) as Ladd did not reach her weight, but Aspen was a dominant Hoy and finished her in the second round via TKO. At Invicta FC 21, she had her final match for the company. Invicta FC21, she defeated Sijara Banks by unanimous decision. Her UFC debut took place on UFC Fight Night 118 where she took on Lina Lansberg. She outclassed Lina as she pound her down for a second-round TKO victory. In her subsequent fight, she was able to defeat Tonya Evinger in a way that was even more spectacular. Ladd defeated Evinger within the first ten seconds she was awarded a bonus for her performance during the evening. Her first fight of note came when she fought her second opponent in UFC Fight Night dos Anjos in which she faced. Lee against Sijara Eubanks in an Invicta FC rematch. Her victory was an unanimous decision and the Fight of the Night award went to the two fighters. Ladd's first loss came in her next fight against Germaine de Randamie in Ladd's first UFC main event fight. Randamie defeated Ladd within 16 seconds, breaking her losing streak. Then she bounced back to win Yana Kunitskaya in the third round at UFC at ESPN 7. For a rematch, she fought Norma Dumont in her most recent UFC fight. She was defeated by a unanimous decision.
