Her appearance is also in Tyler Perry's cult film, Why Did I Get Married? Alongside Perry along with Janet Jackson as well as indie films Frozen Peas, and Born Guilty. Other film credits for her include The 636 (for which she was awarded the title of Best Actress in 2014's NYLA International Film Festival), Shattered! Never Die Alone, American Adobo, as well as American Adobo. After graduating Cum Laude with a B.F.A. Keesha decided to go into the theatre industry after graduating from Cum Laude with the Bachelor of Fine Arts. The actress performed on Carousel, the Broadway National Tour of Carousel The show debuted off Broadway in Michael Bradford's Living in the Wind and performed in eight roles in the interactive show Eat the Runt. Keesha is also a part of Abyssinia as well as Aida. She has read August Wilson's Come and Gone alongside him. Keesha's involvement includes directing the episodes of "Lethal Weapon", Are We There Yet?" and short films One Day Lillian and Half Off. Keesha is the co-creator behind Clean, The Brit & Broken Doll and has several additional original projects in the work.
