Aspen Ladd started her combat sports career at the age of 14. She began training in kickboxing boxing BJJ and wrestling before making her first amateur appearance at 18, at WCFC with Jaimee Nievera. Ladd was able to continue building upon her win at Ultimate Reno Combat, where she won three consecutive fights. She finished all of her opponents within the first round. In the following weeks, she went to WCFC for the second time and defeated Leslie Rodriguez in a unanimous decision.
